Racing Games: Mario Kart 8
OK so this is not actually about F1 but it is about racing. I have talked about racing games before and haven't done it for a while. Haven't had a reason to do that until now.
I bought Mario Kart 8 on Wii U today and this game is absolutely awesome! I own tons of racing games but this is better than anything!
If you have played Mario Kart before then this is a game for you but if you haven't then it may not be as exciting. Some people just love these games and some say that they are for kids etc.
Anyways, I don't care what kind of game this is supposed to be but I know that I can beat anybody! Nobody can beat me if we all drive with the wheel. No controller BS! Challenge me with a steering wheel. It's more challenging and more fun. It also feels more like you're actually driving.
Check out the trailer:

McLaren will be in even better shape in Montreal - Boullier
McLaren racing director Eric Boullier is convinced McLaren will take another step forward in Canada, as new upgrades and a changing philosophy continue to lift the team.
Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen both broke into the top ten in last weekend's Monaco Grand Prix - the first time both men have scored in the same race since Malaysia - helping to lift McLaren above Williams and into fifth in the constructors' championship.
Boullier expects the progress to continue in Canada, where he thinks McLaren's competitiveness will be boosted not only by internal improvements but also by the track layout and characteristics.
"I think the double points finish [in Monaco] was mostly due to the track layout which suited our car - but it also rewarded the hard work we are doing here in Woking," Boullier said during a Vodafone phone-in.
"We have been bringing upgrades regularly since the beginning of the season, but clearly we had a strong push since Barcelona and you can see that on the car. In Monaco we had a lot of mechanical upgrades on the car. That [will continue] through the next few races.
"Canada should suit our car as well - the track has a lot of high-speed straights, but no real high speed corners and a lot of chicanes. So we should be in better shape in Canada than we were in Monaco."
Boullier added that he was actively trying to change the team's approach to Formula One in order for success to return.
He said he shared the view of four-time world champion and former McLaren driver Alain Prost, who had said prior to Monaco that the team needed to "do something a little bit different" to once again challenge at the front of the field.
"Yes, I agree with the comments of Alain, and this is what I have been doing since I started," Boullier said.
"[Our progress] is partially due to the change of direction, and what we have been picking at in terms of performance."
After six rounds of the 2014 championship, McLaren have scored one podium - in the Australian season opener - and sit fifth in the constructors' championship on 52 points, 15 behind Force India and 26 behind Ferrari.

Ferrari confident of making "good step" in Canada
Ferrari will be significantly faster in Canada than they were in Monaco as a result of a planned upgrade package, according to technical director James Allison.
Fernando Alonso finished fourth in Monte Carlo, while team mate Kimi Raikkonen was running a very strong third in the early stages, only for his podium hopes to be scuppered by contact with Max Chilton's Marussia while running behind the safety car - the first of a series of maladies which consigned the Finn to 12th at the finish.
Allison says such form is proof the team are developing well, and bolsters his conviction that the car's underlying pace will be markedly better when they travel to Montreal in a fortnight's time.
"In Monaco, we continued to analyse the areas in which the F14 T can be improved," Allison explained.
"Now we are looking ahead to the next race in Canada, where the package we will use is a good step faster than the car we raced last weekend."
He warned, however, that Ferrari's hopes of a scoring just a second podium of the 2014 season would also be contingent on what upgrades their rivals have lined up for the seventh round of the season.
"While our development programme has progressed well in recent weeks, it is hard to predict exactly what this will mean for the competitiveness of the F14-T, as we do not know what steps our competitors plan to bring to Montreal," he added.
"So any improvement has to be seen in relative terms, hoping that the track will deliver an answer worthy of all the efforts we have made so far."
Allison, who joined Ferrari in September 2013, said Ferrari are also working on a new technical approach intended to give their designers vital creative space.
"We must be able to make the most of the creativity and originality of our engineers," he commented.
"We know there is no magic wand, but there is a wealth of talent at Ferrari and we are working on an implementation and an approach to the work which allows it to emerge."
After six rounds of the 2014 season, Ferrari are third in the constructors' standings on 78 points, 21 behind Red Bull and 11 ahead of Force India. Alonso's third place in China is their best result of the year to date.
