- Most victories in a season: Michael Schumacher - 13 wins in 18 races (2004)
- Most consecutive victories from first race of the season: 5 victories - Nigel Mansell (1992) and Michael Schumacher (2004)
- Most victories in first F1 world championship season: 4 victories - Jaques Villeneuve (1996) and Lewis Hamilton (2007)
- Fewest races before first victory: victory in 1st race - Johnnie Parsons (1950), Giancarlo Baghetti (1961) and Giuseppe Farina (won the first F1 GP ever in 1950)
- Most points without a victory: Nick Heidfeld - 259 points (some of the points are after the new scoring system)
- Victory from farthest back on the grid: John Watson - 22nd (United States GP West 1983)
- Most victories at the same Grand Prix: Michael Schumacher - 8 victories at the French GP
- Most consecutive pole positions at the same GP: Ayrton Senna - 8 poles at the San Marino GP (The last pole was taken the day before he passed away)
- Most pole positions in a season: Sebastian Vettel - 15 poles of 19 GP's in 2011
- Highest percentage of pole positions in a season: Nigel Mansell - 14 pole positions in 16 Grand Prix's = 88% (in the 1992 season)
- Most starts from the front row: Michael Schumacher - 116 front row starts in 308 races
- Best front row start percentage: Juan Manuel Fangio - 48 starts from the front row in 52 Grand Prix's = 92,31%
- Most consecutive starts from front row: Ayrton Senna - 24 starts (from the German GP in 1988 to the Australian GP in 1989)
- Most starts from front row in a season: Sebastian Vettel in 19 races (2011). Ayrton Senna (1989), Alain Prost (1993) and Damon Hill (1996) started all their GP's from front row but the seasons only had 16 GP's.
- Most fastest laps in a season: 10 fastest laps - Michael Schumacher in 2004 and Kimi Räikkönen in 2005 and 2008.
- Most consecutive fastest laps: Alberto Ascari - 7 fastest laps in 1952-1953
- Best podium finish percentage: Dorino Serafini entered one race in 1950 and stood on the podium = 100%
- Most podium finishes in a season: Michael Schumacher (2002) and Sebastian Vettel (2011) - 17 finishes. Schumacher was on the podium in every race in 2002 but Vettel was in 17 of 19 races.
- Most consecutive podium finishes: Michael Schumacher - 19 finishes (2001-2002)
- Most consecutive podium finishes from the first race of the season: Michael Schumacher - 17 podium finishes in 2002
- Most world championship points combined: Michael Schumacher - 1566 (1369 with the old scoring system and 197 with the new one)
- Most world championship points combined after the new scoring system: Sebastian Vettel - 1101
- Total races finished in the points: Michael Schumacher - in 221 races
