Kimi Räikkönen's birthday today!

The Iceman turns 34 today. Next year when Mark Webber leaves the Formula One series Kimi will be the oldest driver in F1. It isn't really that much when we think that Michael Schumacher was with us just last year in Formula One. Rubens Barrichello is also trying to get back.

It's very weird that in the 50's there were drivers that were over 50 years old! Why can't we have old men like that in our time? Is it so hard to compete in F1 if you are older than 30 years old? I mean when was the last time a 30 year old has won a world title in Formula One?

Actually Michael Schumacher was 35 years old when he won his last world championship but who will be next? I would have to say the birthday boy Räikkönen or the Spaniard Fernando Alonso Diaz.

Next year there is going to be so many changes that I believe that Red Bull is not going to be such a clear number one anymore. It's usually times like this that makes everything change.

Think about the last changes! 2009 Brawn and Red Bull were suddenly the best and before that Renault were the best in 2005 when everybody thought that Ferrari was going to be the greatest.

A little off topic, I know, but this is just a little something that I have been thinking about for a while.
Let's get back to Kimi Räikkönen!

I remember his birthday always because it is the same date that me and my wife started to be together.
She hates Formula One by the way.. but what can you do? It doesn't matter.

Here are a few links from my blog about Kimi if you haven't seen these already:
