The first race in Baku made us all wait for something really awesome but the race was actually very boring. I watched the race again today and could not come up with much to say.
The race start was very clean and no drama what so ever. Mercedes' Nico Rosberg had a great start and lead the race from the beginning till the end. It was a grand slam for him.
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen showed us that Ferrari is ahead of Red Bull at the moment. Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen couldn't keep the Ferraris behind them.
One thing happened in the middle of the race that could have shown us some drama but didn't - THE BLUE PLASTIC BAGS! They got stuck on both Vettel's and Räikkönen's cars but didn't really do them that much harm.
Speaking of harm, Räikkönen took a very stupid penalty in the race when he drove across the white lines on the pit lane entry. It was a 5 second penalty which they added on the final results.
Force India's Sergio Perez was chasing Räikkönen the whole race and finally overtook him on the last lap. He was very proud of the move but in reality Räikkönen let him pass because he was on fuel saving mode. He also knew that the 5 second penalty will anyway make him drop a position.
I am serious when I say this - there was not much else happening in the race. I hope the race will be more interesting next year.

- Nico Rosberg, Mercedes - WRONG. He won he race for the 5th time this season.
- Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari - WRONG. He was 2nd and Sergio Perez was 3rd.
Fastest lap: Nico Rosberg, Mercedes - CORRECT
Surprise: McLaren will have a great race here - Alonso retired and Button was 11th so no points for the team.
