Juan Pablo Montoya on the David Letterman Show

This was in 2006 if I remember correctly. They were talking about the US GP on the show. That was actually his last race in Formula One but he didn't know that yet.

Montoya crashed into his teammate Kimi Räikkönen after the first corner and they both retired. Montoya had not shown the same pace as Räikkönen in 2005-2006 and the crash was just the last straw for the team boss Ron Dennis.

Montoya got replaced by Pedro de la Rosa right after the US Grand Prix and he got a podium in the next race. Pedro de la Rosa became the testdriver again after the 2006 season when Lewis Hamilton joined the team from the GP2-series.

2005 GP2 - Race 1 at Nurburgring (FULL RACE)

The first GP2 race at Nurburgring with F1 drivers such as Pantano, Speed, Rosberg, Piquet Jr. and the phenomenal Heikki Kovalainen! This guy can really drive. Unfortunately he is without a Formula One seat at the moment. I hope that he can find one for the next season cause he really deserves it more than many other drivers in F1.
